I Saw SNOW!

I got to see snow for the first time. I was so excited! Not only is it super fun to play in, but it's delicious too-- yum!

See Me Live!

Here I am, in my first video debut! My back is a comfy place to be, and sometimes I like to just hang out there and chew a rawhide. But one night I got distracted and lost the rawhide... underneath myself. Fortunately I'm a very easygoing guy and was perfectly happy using it as it's new purpose: a back scratcher!

Playtime!

Here I am playing this morning in the backyard with my foster mom and my friend Arthur (he's the short one). I like to play with the ball, but instead of boring old Fetch I made up a much better new game, Fetch And Keep Away. I'm pretty good at it!

I got a new haircut!

Don't I look fabulous? My foster mom trimmed my hair up a bit for me. I was such a good boy during my haircut! I even got comfy on my back near the end and dozed for awhile.

My name is Monty and I am definitely not your average looking dog! I'm a Poodle/Basset Hound mix with an adorable face and silky soft, curly hair.

I'm a pretty medium energy fellow. I like to take walks and play sometimes. I love chasing balls! I also know the value of a good at-the-feet nap, and I love rolling over for a nice long belly rub!

I love to smile and being around people lets me do it a lot because I like just about everyone I meet, big or little. I even get along pretty well with other dogs but I would be fine in a home where I'm the only dog. When I first got here I didn't know what cats were and thought they would be great fun to play with, but I'm doing much better with them now and my foster mom says she's really proud of me!

I am a pretty smart pup and know how to sit, I'm house trained and I'm good on a leash. I'm also learning other basic obedience stuff, like how to use my crate.
